I have always wanted to attend a live concert, not because of my love for a particular celebrity, but more because I want to experience my own thoughts and feelings in that setting and let out what is deep inside me. In fact, what I really want to see is a rock concert or a nostalgic concert. I once wrote in my memo:
- In 2023, I want to attend a concert by Da Zhang Wei, Li Zhi, or Jay Chou.
Many of my close friends probably know that I quite like Da Zhang Wei. Of course, what I really love is the "Zhang Wei" from the time of the band Hua Er. I love his energy, his youthful spirit that can still be seen even at almost 40 years old, and his authenticity.
To some extent, what I like is "myself". The past me, who drew strength from music during the darkest moments and nurtured myself to become who I am today.
JJ Lin Concert#
This year, I actually tried to get tickets for Da Zhang Wei's and Jay Chou's concerts many times, but maybe it wasn't meant to be, and I didn't manage to get any. It wasn't until JJ Lin's concert that I was able to instantly get a ticket for myself and help a friend get one too. So, on the 28th, I watched a concert up close from the stands.
It was my first time attending a concert, and there were some unexpected things:
- I thought the venue would have a good internet connection, but to my surprise, there was almost no network.
- I thought there would be no problem recording videos with my phone, but I was surprised to see a message saying there was not enough memory and I had to delete many apps.
- There was also a small incident where I initially sat in the wrong seat and wondered why there was nothing on the seat. It wasn't until a security guard reminded me that I realized I was in the wrong seat. The correct seat had a great view and there were glow sticks and everything.
- I noticed many girls taking photos, some even had selfie sticks to record videos. The atmosphere in the venue was great.
- Most importantly, I discovered that JJ Lin truly lives up to his reputation as a "walking CD". The live performance was no different from listening to him on my phone.
Let me share a live performance of a song that I heard for the first time but really liked:
Finally, I want to share my feelings of attending the concert with my friends:
Everything is perfectly arranged!
I saw a different side of my friends and discovered my true self.
