The recent days have been quite lively. Two weeks ago, I went to the Qinling Mountains with friends. And this past week, my cousin got married, so I spent two days driving and had a packed schedule.
Night in the Qinling Mountains#
Two Fridays ago, after having dinner with friends, we suddenly decided to drive to the Qinling Mountains. It was my first time entering the mountains, and it was at night. Everything felt destined.
The feeling of entering the mountains at night was strange. The darkness, the sound of the wind and water, and the chirping of summer insects instantly lifted the sense of oppression from the city.
The next morning, we woke up early and went hiking. Here are some of the scenery along the way. I walked 17,340 steps that day, and the feeling of hiking was great. I should do it more often in the future.
There was a tree with small bells tied to it, making a beautiful sound in the wind. I recorded it as a personal memory. (Please ignore the voices in the background)
There were other scenic views in the area. The rainbow reflected by the waterfall in the sunlight was beautiful, but my photography skills are not that good, so I won't share them here.
Cousin's Wedding#
My cousin officially started his own family the day before yesterday. He is only one year older than me, and we grew up together. He and his college girlfriend, who have been in a relationship for 8 years, tied the knot. Seeing him standing on the stage, I felt a bit emotional. Time really flies. The next time we talk about this, it will be my turn. I need to work harder.
